My first impression wasn’t the best because the shipping was slower than I thought it would be. It did arrive eventually, but getting it later than expected was a bit disappointing...

These were comfortable overall, lol. Not the absolute best I’ve tried or anything, but they felt okay and did the job.

I was able to find my gear quickly, which saved me a lot of time. The checkout was straightforward too, so I could get everything ordered without any hassle

I did get my order in the end, so that was fine, but the tracking updates were slow. Compared to other deliveries I’ve had, this one didn’t keep me as up to date, which was a little frustrating.

The jacket fits well with a base layer underneath and doesn’t feel tight in the shoulders, which was a relief because I didn’t want to deal with an exchange. The pants were true to size too. Ordering was simple, no annoying surprises, and everything fit like it should. Easy 5 stars from me.

I’ve shopped around on BlackOvis.com a few times when I’m looking for hunting gear or outdoor stuff, and overall, it’s been a easy site to browse. I like that they carry a bunch of different brands in one place, so I don’t have to jump between a bunch of websites just to compare a few items.
That said, I’ve definitely had moments where I found something I wanted, only to see my size or preferred color was out of stock. Some categories also feel a little thin depending on what I’m searching for. It’s not a bad place to shop, but I do wish the selection was a bit more consistent

I ordered a merino base layer and a pack rain cover before a cold weekend elk trip, and they both really did the job. The base layer kept me comfortable, the rain cover worked well, and both dried fast when they got damp. Shipping was quick too, so really no complaints from me
